Cabo San Lucas Weather Outlook for the Week of February 4th – February 10th, 2024

👉Weather Recap: Last week I figured our lows would average between mid to high 60sf and highs in the low to mid 80’s due to the forecast of partly cloudy skies on and off and the anticipation of higher wind speeds.

The first few days last week we did experience a few gusts of up to 40 mph and they taper off to wind speeds of 5-15 mph with a few gusts of up to 25 mph primarily coming from the southwest.

My weather station recorded a low of 61 and a high of 88.2, making the average temperature last week 73.9f.

As you can see from the screenshot from my personal weather station (MADIS and the National Weather Service approved) , I was offline for February the 2nd and part of the morning of the 3rd due to a wiring issue (so sensitive a little dusting and I unplugged it 🤦‍♀️)

The rain we might have expected at the end of last week actually came on Tuesday due to several things. One was that there were a lot of warm winds and moisture in the air early Tuesday mornings and we had an unexpected high of 84f with roughly 25mph winds.

Many of the neighbors were taken by surprise and lost some of the outdoor pillows. I guess they do not regularly check the weather or read my reports! 🙃 It is sad to lose outdoor pillows; the time it took to find the perfect ones that can also handle the sun. I hope they eventually find them.

I slept through it but it is my understanding we had quit the thunderstorm and surrounding areas had some rain, but the only MADIS-approved weather station that showed rainfall was in Las Verdas at 0.08″. In Cabo San Lucas, it rained just long enough for me to close the doors and windows.

We all know that long-term weather forecasts are nearly always wrong, no matter which model you use. I prefer the one that is most accurate for my location in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. So what might we anticipate next week?

➡️ Forecast: Well to start with, I recorded a low of 63f this morning and we should see an average of low to mid-60s, with highs of mid to high 70s.

This can totally change but at this moment it looks like the windiest as far as gusts are will begin Tuesday evening into Wednesday possibly up to 35-40mph. The rest of the week the wind speeds should be about the same as last week but what we call confused winds. They look to possibly come from West and SouthWest.

There doesn’t seem to be any rain in the forecast as I type this but do anticipate partly cloudy skies from Wednesday to Friday afternoon.
