Cabo San Lucas Weather Outlook for the Week of February 12th – February 17th, 2024. Apologies for being a day late, but between learning a long time friend had passed and presuming most would be busy with Super Bowl (I had the Chief’s and I don’t even watch football)I am sure most of you understand.
Last week’s forecast to what we recorded at Live Cabo Radio’s weather station!
While the most accurate computer model for my awesome “location, location, location” I had anticipated temperature lows in the mid 60’s with afternoon highs of mid to high 70’s.
The forecast had called for it to be a little windy with gusts up to 35-40mph beginning Tuesday evening, and partly cloudy skies from Wednesday through Friday.
Though no rain was predicted from any of the major computer models, a friend detailed her new Jeep, and sure enough, 4 hours later we had a few sprinkles. So far this year, we’ve had two days of sprinkles just enough to ruin a car wash but not enough to record on the weather station.
- Recap of actual weather for last week:
There were a few blips recorded on my weather station where I recorded a low of 41.9f on Tuesday as well as a low of 47.5 this past Saturday.
Wunderground is the one who considered it a blip, in that they were firm the coldest low we had by the Cabo San Lucas Marina was 56.5f, and the warmest day was last Monday with a high of 82 giving us average temperatures of 69.3
While we averaged wind speeds from the West South West of about 4’ish mph, we experienced several high gusts of wind ranging from 25-32.40mph I am not personally satisfied with how wunderground comes up with these averages as we experienced 10-15 mph winds most of the week.
- Cabo San Lucas Weather Outlook for the Week of February 12th – February 17th, 2024.
The first few days this week expect the early morning hours to be a bit chillier than the rest of the week where the lows should be over 60. Afternoon highs will start off warmer today nearing high 70s but as last week, with a forecast of partly cloudy to cloudy skies with winds from 5-15mph I think I will be living in a hoody and Uggs. After several dedaced of living here, this is just cold for locals!
I have included a screenshot of the 4 main models as we all experience something different depending on where we are in Los Cabos, and sometimes one model is more accurate than others.
