January in Cabo San Lucas — straight from my icabos3 station (2020–2026):
Rain? Basically none.
Out of 7 Januarys, only ONE had measurable rain… and it was 0.18 inches.
Every other year: 0.00.
So if you’re picturing a rainy Cabo winter… that’s not really how this works.
Temperatures stay easy:
– Days in the low to mid 80s (at my location)
– Nights in the 50s–60s
This is the dry season doing exactly what it’s supposed to do. No drama, no surprises.
Even when El Niño gets attention, January here usually just minds its business.
Bottom line: If you want the most consistent, low-risk weather month in Cabo… this is it.
