June in Cabo San Lucas — straight from my icabos3 station (2020–2025):
Now it starts to feel like summer.
Temperatures:
– Days routinely in the mid to upper 90s
– Nights warming into the mid-60s and even low 70s some years
Rain? Still mostly scarce.
Four of the six years recorded 0.00″.
The only exceptions were a couple of quick June showers in 2021 and 2022 — brief, light, and nothing major.
Humidity starts creeping in this time of year, and you can feel the shift.
You’ll still get some breeze and occasional gusty days, but by June the bigger story is heat building and hurricane season officially being underway.
ENSO note (simple + real):
We’re in neutral conditions now, with a chance of El Niño developing later. June can sometimes hint at those broader patterns, but the stronger effects usually show up much later in the season.
Bottom line: hotter, a touch more humid, still mostly dry… and the first real taste of summer in Cabo.
And yes, this is when many of us start glancing at the tropics a little more often.
I’ll keep going month by month with my actual data and screenshots.
How does June feel to you — first taste of summer, or first month you start watching the maps?
Stay tuned for July! xoxo
