While the producer was busy and apparently ignoring two disturbances for a day, the atmosphere decided to move the storyline along without permission.
Amanda has now left the Eastern Pacific cast and drifted westward into the Central Pacific.
Shortly after changing networks, Amanda’s ratings declined, her storyline fizzled, and she has now disappeared from the promotional materials entirely.
Meanwhile, two new characters have entered the show.

Boris
Boris finally secured a contract after spending much of the weekend trying to convince forecasters exactly where his center was located.
The storm is approaching the southern coast of Mexico and is expected to bring heavy rainfall, flooding concerns, and the possibility of mudslides in mountainous areas.
The good news for Los Cabos?
Boris is not heading our way.

Cristina
Not to be outdone, Cristina arrived and was promoted from Tropical Depression to Tropical Storm almost immediately.
Cristina is tracking near the Central American coastline and is expected to bring heavy rainfall, flooding concerns, rough surf, and tropical storm conditions to portions of Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and nearby areas.
Also not heading toward Los Cabos.
Cabo Perspective
From a Baja California Sur standpoint:
✔ Boris is not forecast to impact Los Cabos.
✔ Cristina is not forecast to impact Los Cabos.
✔ No watches or warnings are in effect for Baja California Sur.
The primary concerns remain well south and southeast of our region.
Of course, it is only June, and hurricane season has a long way to go.
As for Amanda, she changed networks, lost her audience, and has quietly exited the show.
The producer would appreciate it if the atmosphere would stop introducing new characters while dinner is being prepared.
