Afternoon update: Both Frank and Georgette are weakening, Frank is taking his time but Georgette is in a rush. This morning Frank’s max sustained winds were 65 mph with gusts up to 75mph, but now his max is 50mph with gusts of 65mph. Earlier today Georgette boasted 120mph max sustained with 150mph gusts, now I know a decrease in max sustained winds to 110mph isn’t much but her gusts have decreased to 135mph and will continue to weaken into a cat 1 sometime tonight/tomorrow morning. ~end update 2:50pm Cabo Time
Tropical Storm Frank is moving even further away from us out west but at 6mph which means we are stuck with the humidity from both Frank as well as the cloud accumulation he is pulling towards us off of mainland Mexico. This means we’ve got a chance of a bit of rain every day. As I mentioned last night, our own weather station reported 0.32 inches of rain in that short downpour we had on Saturday.

As you can see from the computer models above, where Frank will end up is anyone’s guess but he’s not coming here so it’s really a non-issue other than the humidity from being so close.
Georgette decided to surprise us all (2nd time the month has jumped from a cat 2 to a cat 4 without warning) and while she is a tiny little thing she moved over the same area that Blas did the same exact thing. Georgette is already beginning to weaken from her brief period as a Cat 4 down to a cat 3.

Tropical Despression Darby, who I haven’t really mentioned in a few days is finally breaking up after he crossed over Hawaii.
Yes, the storms are starting to get closer to land as Frank has shown us but the winds are still in our favor.
Now on to the never accurate 10-Day forecast!
Time to get to work. Have a fab Monday everyone!
