Tomorrow is the partial solar eclipse! Will the weather behave itself? Read on for the forecast!

Cabo San Lucas Weather Outlook for the Week of April 8th – April 12th, 2024 with a recap for last week.

  • Forecast: This week, like last week’s most agreeable weather with lows in the mid-60s to 70s, and daily highs of mid-70s to low 80s, this next week will bring you plenty of fun in the sun!
  • Monday, April 8th – Tuesday the 9th, we may see some high winds that will make umbrellas difficult to manage, your beloved outdoor decorative pillows to blow away and require a neighborhood party search to find them (it’s a thing 🤷‍♀️), and some may literally have to chase their baseball caps unless of the worst happens and you and up not needing to wear a hat.
  • Tomorrow, April 8th during the most anticipated moment of the day , 2 out of 4 computer models are showing a chance of partly cloudy skies when the Partial Eclipse of the sun is at its maximum 😮. If that is the case, let us hope those clouds are not near the sun for this amazing event! There is also a decent chance the clouds will spare us and come later in the day!

Do not be surprised if the temperature drops slightly during the 95% partial solar eclipse tomorrow.

  • Recap of last week’s weather in Cabo San Lucas: The coolest morning temperature low was 61’ishF, and our warmest day was the Wednesday afternoon of April the 3rd at 83.7F. I know when looking at the graph below some might notice we very briefly experienced a very low temp that coincided just after the winds were picking up.
  • The mostly light winds came from the WSW though we did experience a few gusts from up to 30mph.

Anyway, I found this cool YouTube video showing what we should expect to witness tomorrow pending on well-behaved skies or naughty clouds.

Where do YOU plan to be if you are in Cabo San Lucas tomorrow? Please leave a comment below.

If you have not already read it, please read my last blog post on the eclipse for eye safety reminders. I will probably just do what we did in elementary school and just use a paper with a tiny hole in it and watch it on the ground 😄 https://livecaboradio.blog/2024/03/25/will-the-2024-total-solar-eclipse-be-visable-in-cabo-san-lucas-mexico/
