April in Cabo San Lucas: Warmer, Windier & Still Super Dry – My Weather Station Data (2020–2026)

April in Cabo San Lucas — straight from my icabos3 station (2020–2026):

I am aware this is only half of the month for 2026!

This is where things start to heat up.

Not summer yet… but you can feel it coming.

Temperatures:

– Days: low to mid 90s at my location

– Nights: around 59°F on average

Rain? None.

Across all 6 years: 0.00″.

Wind: Here’s where it gets interesting.

Back when we first moved here, March was the windy month. I remember trying to find a kite to fly on the beach… and then not being able to fly it anyway 😄

Lately? April has been stealing that title more often. My data shows stronger, more frequent gusts this time of year — and yes, you’ll feel it.

So between the wind, the dry air, and the warming temps… Cabo keeps handing out those complimentary “microdermabrasion” sessions.

This is also Easter season, so you’ll see more visitors — both international and lots of Mexican families — adding to that lively April energy.

ENSO note (simple + real):

April sits in a transition window. Even if El Niño develops later, it usually doesn’t do much here this time of year. Warm, dry, and breezy tends to win.

Bottom line: hotter, often windier (these days), and still bone-dry.

🤗,

Jenn
