December Weather in Cabo San Lucas

December in Cabo San Lucas — data from my icabos3 station (2020–2025):

December in Cabo… the circle closes.
Warm beach days, cooler nights, dry season settling back in.
Sometimes Christmas feels almost hot.
Sometimes New Year’s calls for Uggs.
That’s Cabo 😄

And just like that… we come back around.

December is where dry season settles in again, but winter starts showing a little personality.

Some Christmases feel almost hot.

Some New Year’s Eves have you reaching for Uggs.

That’s December in Cabo.

Rain? Usually very little, though 2025 reminded us winter can still throw in a surprise with 1.19″.

Wind tends to be light, humidity drops off, and after the muggy months, the air feels noticeably easier.

Enso Cycle was El Niño

Important station note:
My sensor was still having a bit of a temperature tantrum when it got wet in 2025, so those inflated highs weren’t literal on a rainy day. Rain data itself, remained reliable.

ENSO note (simple + real):
December is often one of our more stable months, though broader ENSO patterns can still subtly influence winter setups.

Bottom line: mild, mostly dry, and a return to the kind of weather many people picture when they dream about winter in Cabo.

And with this post… that completes my month-by-month weather HER-story from icabos3.

What does December mean to you in Cabo — beach days, sweater nights, or both? Will you be spending Christmas in Cabo?
