Tropical Storm Sandra 8am update

8 am ‘ish update Tropical Storm Sandra

Sandra has slowed down in “forward” movement (from 18-19 mph) to 13 mph which will give the system a chance to strengthen into a hurricane tomorrow as it moves west before the anticipated northeastern turn back towards Mexico’s coast later this week.

Currently Sandra is roughly 845 miles from Cabo San Lucas and will likely remain offshore as it passes south of us late Friday.

Note: Sandra is expected to rapidly weaken, and regardless of where the storms center is, we are expecting some rain. At this time I’m personally not worried about my patio furniture moving (it rearranges itself a bit at about 30-35 mph).

Time to take my turkey out of the freezer … updates later.
