Before we get to the weather … fishing has put Cabo San Lucas on the map, okay well we were on the map long before that with tales of pirates and treasure … but in recent decades, it’s been all about the fishing. Later in the year we will get into the history of Bisbee’s, because this weekend is all about Pelagic’s Triple Crown of Fishing Tournament!

I’ve complied just a few pictures of the Baja Cantina on the Marina. Look on the walls and up in the palapa roof, you will see the names of boats and paintings of boats that have left their mark in our beloved little fishing village, at the place boat owners, captains, their crew, anglers and call home, the Baja Cantina. It’s where we gather before a tournament, to plan, to celebrate, congregate when the weather is bad to be as close to eachother, to unwind, as we are a family.
Okay so that last picture is something I added to remember to try later this afternoon!
Yesterday was a scorcher! Saw highs of 104 Fahrenheit! Interestingly enough … those fishing the Pelagic Tournament wore jackets part of the day because it was a bit chilly out at sea. Today down by the marina we are expecting a high of 95f but I am sure more inland will reach closer to 100 like yesterday. DRINK WATER. Turn on the A/C for your pets.
So … being that time of the year, we now have TWO invests in the E.Pacific. Invest 91e which we’ve talked about here – here here and here : and now Invest 92e which was just a little something barely mentioned yesterday but has now earned enough attention for the NHC to give it the number Invest 92e
