The first to put out the 2022 forecast is, of course, SEMAR.
To start with the names of this year’s East Pacific Storms:

Newton
Orlene

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, they are predicting 20-named storms.
1 named Tropical Depression
12 named Tropical Storms
5 Hurricanes Catagory 1 or 2
and 2 Major Hurricanes (Cat 3 or higher)
We generally expect an average for the eastern Pacific hurricane season to have 15 named storms, 8 hurricanes, and 4 major hurricanes.

Hurricane Season for the East Pacific begins on May 15th and ends on November 30th.
Now let’s see what they say in the next few days/weeks from the agencies up “north”.
To be continued … yes … this was a rushed update. Sorry!

Affiliate links are below because I personally love and have used the product and their prep blogs are fantastic. No matter where you are whether in the USA or if your mail forwarding company can get it to you, all you need is a heat source, a pot with a lid, and water and in minutes you will have a pretty yummy hot meal to serve your family. Even if you only try the 72-hour bucket (that is what I have), it may come in handy and the best part is they even have gluten-free buckets!
