🌴 Hurricane Season Novela 2026 – Hurricane Fausto

🎬 Plot Twist!

Just when Fausto looked ready for a rapid intensification montage… Mother Nature handed us a script rewrite.

Yes… Fausto is now a Category 1 hurricane. 🌀

However, instead of continuing to strengthen overnight as expected, persistent northerly wind shear briefly disrupted the storm’s inner core. The National Hurricane Center says the center became partially exposed, causing Fausto to weaken slightly from 80 mph to 75 mph

The good news? This doesn’t change the overall storyline.

🌀 Fausto remains a Category 1 hurricane and is still forecast to strengthen again later today as environmental conditions become more favorable.

📍 The forecast track continues to keep Fausto well offshore over the open Pacific.

🌊 The primary impact for Baja California Sur remains increasing surf and dangerous rip currents along west-facing beaches beginning Wednesday.

🎭 Meanwhile… a new audition begins.

The National Hurricane Center has highlighted a new area of low pressure expected to develop well south of Mexico over the next couple of days.

🔸 48-hour development chance: Near 0%
🔸 7-day development chance: 70%

It’s simply the next system worth watching …

As always, I’ll continue sharing meaningful updates if the forecast changes.

xoxo,
